M-E: "Cat was telling me that you can use sea salt as a topping for ginger molasses cookies, instead of rolling them in sugar."
The hubby looks quizzical.
M-E: "It brings out the sugar. It's a contrast."
The hubby: "Yea, like beating your head against the wall for while. When you stop, you think standing still feels good in comparison."
Conclusion: Attempts to substitute sugar with salt on cookies will have to be done on the sly.
Haha! That man of yours is quick on the uptake! Not to mention a fierce advocate of all things sweet -- no wonder he married you ;)
